Crew Teflon

Cr3w Teflon (CT) was started up in January 2011 by then 16-year old rappers Timmy Tim aka Soulkiid, Ben Vic aka Accurate and Bior aka BG Ace; and later featured singer Kavi on their first EP, 'True Story'. Their original mission was to bring out music that would have a lasting positive impact on society.
The nickname 'Teflon' is given to persons, particularly in public life, to whom negative criticism does not seem to stick. This metaphor comes from the name of a "non-stick" chemical used on cookware. It is very non-reactive, partly because of the strength of carbon–fluorine bonds, and is often used in containers and pipe-work for reactive and corrosive chemicals. As a lubricant, Teflon reduces wear and energy waste in machinery.
