30 students have unlocked the potential of earning up to Ksh250,000 pay after graduating from the Mombasa Worthstart Barista & Mixology Institute.

The students, who are primed to work at five-star hotels and cruise ships among other high-end places, graduated after participating in a one-month training course at the institute.

Speaking during the maiden graduation, James Wanjohi, the co-founder of Worthstart Barista and Mixology Institute, praised the course's capability to equip the graduates as entrepreneurs.

"This is a very special day for me and the graduates because this is one of the shortest courses in the world lasting for 30 days and then you land a permanent job for the rest of your life. All the five-star hotels do not function without a barista.

"This is a course where you can open your own restaurant immediately after graduation. I encourage as many Kenyans to partake in this training."
