Detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission on Tuesday, arrested two prosecutors at the Public Prosecutions office in Kisumu.
Sonye Okumu and Jared Ruto allegedly received a bribe of Sh15,000 from one Henry Ongweto.
The two are said to have asked for the money in order to ensure reinstatement of a case.
According to EACC officials, police officers had recommended that the case be withrawn.
They were taken to Railways police station in Kisumu and released on a Sh20,000 police bond, The Star reports.
Their case will be heard at the EACC Court in Homa Bay County on September 9.
