"I have bought him a microphone, tripod, and camera. I love his work and I would love to support him. I hope that the items will help him in his work," Manja stated.

In an interview on Friday, the actor stated that he had used up the money he had been given months ago to pay up his loans and set up a business for his wife.

He added that he had received less than a million shillings which he used to settle his debts He argued that some of the people who pledged did not keep their part of the bargain.

"I am ready to even work as a sweeper before I bounce back. You can reach me through my contacts," the actor stated.

Following his sentiments, Omosh came under condemnation from Kenyans who accused him of taking their generosity for granted.

Media personality Felix Odiwuor (Jalang'o), who has hosted Omosh on his show, highlighted that the actor received more than Ksh 1 million when he hosted him on his Youtube show, noting that 'some people never learn.'

Omosh has since issued a statement reiterating that he is grateful for the help that Kenyans offered him.  Further, he asked Jalang'o not to be upset with him.

"I won't lie, I am a Christian, and I am faithful to my religion. So he should not be mad at me, no need. The money was used to pay debts. He shouldn't be mad; above all, I am thankful," he added.
