The DJ shared her admiration of the former governor who has been involved in several philanthropic undertakings where he helped clear medical bills for other Kenyans.

"I am kindly begging to meet you because I feel you are my only hope," the DJ indicated on a placard while seated on her hospital bed.

However, it was the Nandi Governor and local leaders from the county who came to her aid settling all her medical bills.

"Thank you Nandi County leadership for stepping in to clear the medical bill of our daughter," Sang shared in a statement.

Among the leaders who came to the DJ's rescue include Nandi Woman Representative Cynthia Muge, Members of Parliament from the expansive Nandi county including Julius Melly, Bernard Kitur, Joses Lelmengit, Maryann Kitany, Abraham Kirwa, and Paul Biego.

Others included Labour Principal Secretary Peter Tum and Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei.

The DJ was admitted to the hospital on Monday, January 23 for an operation on her leg which went successful but was unable to return home due to the accrued medical bill.

Nandi county residents lauded the leaders for their selfless act of ensuring that the woman is released from the hospital.
