Blogger Offers Sh200,000 For Gor Mahia's Chairman Removal

A controversial blogger is offering cash reward to any group of individuals who will use force to eject Gor Mahia Football Club Chairman Ambrose Rachier.

Robert Alai, who is also an ardent supporter of Kogallo, on Wednesday offered Sh200,000 to persons willing to help get rid of the long-serving club chairman.

Alai accused Rachier of allegedly mismanaging the club's funds and causing the departure of former coach Frank Nuttall.

“I have upped my donation to Ksh 200,000 for any team willing to eject Rachier from Gor Mahia. We must remove Rachier because he is destroying the club,” he stated on Facebook.

Alai who is also eyeing the Secretary General post at the defending league champions, has also accused Gor Mahia's boss of deliberately postponing club elections to stretch his tenure.

“Gor Mahia's problems will compound with Rachier as Chairman. Ambrose must be removed from the leadership of the club,” he added.

The team has recorded a dwindling performance this season with a section of fans blaming the club chairman for being behind the slump.
