British Murder Suspect ‘Hiding in Kenya’ Finally Arrested

A British woman suspected to have been hiding in Kenya after allegedly killing her daughter has finally been arrested.

Angela Whitworth was apprehended in Uganda on suspicion that she murdered her 20-month old daughter, Sarah Dahane, three years ago.

“The arrested woman was detained today in Uganda by the Uganda national police in a joint operation with Thames Valley police’s major crime unit, and is currently in custody,” the UK police confirmed.

Little Dahane was found dead at their home in Oxfordshire, UK, a day after Ms Whitworth had flown to Nairobi.

In February, investigating officer, Ian Hunter confirmed that the UK police had sent its probing officers to Kenya in pursuit of the suspect.

The Thames Valley Police had launched a public appeal, placing a Sh1.1 Million reward to any one with information that could lead to her arrest.
