Enjoy Free Rides in These 2 Matatus

Commuters using the Nairobi - Ongata Rongai and Nairobi - Dagoretti/Kikuyu routes will Friday enjoy free rides after two matatus plying those areas were announced winners in this week's #NgataYaMa3niShell competition.

Passengers who will board matatu christened Grizzly of Oromats Sacco (KCE 600H) route number 125/126 and Galacticos of Dakika Sacco (KCC 863S) route 2, will not pay fares courtesy of the #NgataYaMa3niShell campaign by Vivo Energy Kenya.

The competition, which seeks to celebrate professionalism and courtesy among matatu crew, awards two public service vehicles in Nairobi and its environs every week as voted for by the public.

Members of the public  are invited to vote for drivers and conductors who satisfy them by their exceptional skills in customer relations.

To participate, one needs to take a photo of the matatu clearly showing the registration number, then post it on their personal Facebook or twitter accounts using the hashtag #NgataYaMa3niShell.

There is no limit to the number of times one can vote for the matatu they feel deserves the recognition.

The winner’s package includes Vivo Energy Kenya covering an entire day’s cost for the matatu to ensure passengers travel to destinations at no cost.

It doesn't end there, the most active voters each week get to recieve gift hampers from Vivo Energy Kenya.
