Former Education Minister Professor Sam Ongeri has been admitted in hospital after collapsing in his Kisii home on Saturday morning.
The Professor who is Kenya's envoy to UN-Habitat, was admitted in Oasis Hospital Kisii but will be airlifted to Nairobi.
"He is in a stable condition but we are making arrangements to airlift him to Nairobi," said a family source.
Prof Ongeri was part of the delegation that travelled to New York with President Uhuru Kenyatta for the United Nations General Assembly last month.
