Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale was on Saturday involved in a heated exchange with his residents who claimed he was lazy.
It all started when a local posted on Twitter, a picture of small business women protesting the lack of toilets at an Ikolomani market apparently put up by Khalwale.
The Senator replied, "U are dead wrong! I built the current modern Musoli market," tweeted Khalwale in responce.
He was then bashed for 'bragging' to have built the 'modern' market yet there were no toilets at the facility.
The vocal senator decided to blame Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya for sleeping on the job despite having the money to bring development.
“I have brought the devolved billions. Oparanya lacks the ideas,” said Khalwale.
