Moses Kuria Angers Kenyans With this Message

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has once again been bashed by Kenyans following a statement he posted on Facebook.

After chaotic demonstrations staged by the CORD coalition where police officers were blamed for brutally assaulting protestors, Kuria took to social media apparently commending the officers for attacking the protesters

The legislator, who is a member of the Parliamentary Budget Committee, said that he would urge other lawmakers to increase financial allocations to security agents so they could purchase more weapons to use on demonstrators.

“Well done Police! As a member of the parliamentary budget committee, I can confirm we will be reviewing the budget of the police upwards to cater for emerging issues like need for more and extra lethal teargas. And now they are saying the police used live bullets. Did they want you to use dead bullets?[sic]” stated the Gatundu MP.

The statement was protested by a section of the public that hurled insults at the MP for supporting actions that were deemed against the law.

A few weeks ago, Kuria got into trouble with social media users after exposing a conversation in which he had rudely responded to a journalist.
