Nairobi Witnesses Rare Scene in CBD

Nairobi residents were on Saturday treated to a spectacle that is rarely seen in Africa.

For one to experience the moment, you had to have been in the Central Business District (CBD) between 6pm and 12am.

Kencom and Trust Bank buildings were lit up with massive digital out-of-home projections that expanded to cover the entire outer walls.

This was for a campaign christened Blaze, a product of communications giant Safaricom.

Blaze is a platform that empowers young people on the Safaricom network to literally create their own plan for data, voice and SMS.

Joining is as easy as dialing *555# and is open to everyone aged between 10 to 26 years. 

Members will have access to great 4G-enabled products, movie tickets and food at select partner outlets.
