PHOTO: Kalonzo Releases Evidence of His Presence at IEBC Riots

Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has produced evidence to prove that he was present when fellow leaders were tear-gassed on Monday afternoon.

The Wiper leader took to Facebook where he posted a photo of the event circling himself in a blue cap, to indicate that he was within the crowd as they were trying to gain access to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) offices in Nairobi.

Musyoka captioned the photo: “Moments before the teargas drama at the gates of the Anniversary towers yesterday” following allegations that he had betrayed other CORD leaders who were spotted on the forefront leading the protests."

However, the photograph wasn't clearly visible and could not outrightly show that it was the Wiper Movement leader.

On Monday, a section of social media users mocked Kalonzo accusing him of cowing away as other leaders were being teargassed outside the Anniversary Towers since he was not captured on camera.

Photos circulating online showed CORD leader Raila Odinga and his counterpart Moses Wetangula recovering from effects of the teargas with Musyoka clearly missing.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Spokesman Philip Etale supported Kalonzo insisting that he was present during the demonstrations and led from the front.
