A popular journalist has embraced former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as her new father after her real father died more than a week ago.

KTN news anchor Lindah Oguttu lost her father last week on Sunday to an undisclosed illness.

Linda, who broke the news via her twitter account, revisited her timeline, this time round with Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader as her 'new' father.

“My father may have gone, but he has left me in the hands of my second father Raila Odinga. Thank you for your support,” she wrote.

The Opposition leader, popularly referred to as 'Baba' by most of his supporters, condoled with the journalist.

“Condoling Lindah Oguttu following the untimely demise of her father. We pray to God to give her strength during this trying time,” wrote Raila on his Facebook page.
