Police officers have vowed to arrest and prosecute individuals involved in the Wednesday night hooliganism that saw GorMahia fans set ablaze two vehicles in the city center.
Police say they are studying CCTV footage to determine the identity of those involved.
The fans went on a rampage after a city council car allegedly ran down, injuring three fans.
In anger they burned the a city council van and a private vehicle.
City council officials, however, claim that it was not their car that hit the fans.

The ugly incident after their celebration following a 2-0 win against Ushuru FC has been criticized widely.
It is not the first time the fans have destroyed property in celebration of a win.
Their rivalry with AFC Leopards has also seen the fans get into altercations, leaving several people injured.
Speaking to Capital Fm, Nairobi County Police Commander, Benson Kibue condemned the incident and vowed that those involved would be brought to book.
This comes even as the football club apologized on twitter and facebook for the chaos.
