Ruto's Pilot Fired After Assaulting Policewoman

A pilot hired by Deputy President William Ruto has been fired after a video of him assaulting a policewoman went viral on social media, sparking rage among Kenyans.

Kwae Island Development Limited, the company that had contracted Alistar Brown, distanced itself from the disgraceful incident, stating that the company shows respect to all service men and women.

The firm indicated that: "KIDL has since terminated the agreement between itself and Alistair Llewelyn and Saker Resource Management Limited".

KIDL had subcontracted the services of the pilot on 20 February 2016 to transport the DP to Nyandarua on 21 February 2016.

In the clip shared widely on social media, Captain Brown is seen violently pushing the police officer while ordering her to do her work.

He further threatens the woman that if she does not do her job, she would have to explain the matter to the DP.

"Do your job, okay? Tell these people to move back. Cause then you will explain to the DP," the pilot vents.
