UK Places Bounty on Female Murder Suspect in Kenya

Police in United Kingdom (UK) have placed a hefty bounty on a suspected female murderer believed to be hiding in Kenya.

Through its website, Thames Valley Police department has offered Sh1.1 Million reward to anyone with information that would lead to the arrest of Angela Whitworth, suspected of killing her daughter, Sarah Dahane .

Senior investigating officer Superitendent Ian Hunter, confirmed that Angela was hiding in Kenya where she had jetted in after the death of her 20-month-old baby.

“Angela Whitworth travelled to Kenya on 15 May 2013 and I believe she is still in Kenya and I am appealing for anybody who can help us to locate her to come forward. I believe there are people who know where she is and are in contact with her,” he stated.

The British officer reassured that his department was working closely with the Kenya Police adding that his officers had already travelled into the country as part of their investigation.

He indicated that investigations into the alleged crime was hectic calling on those with information about Ms Whitworth's whereabouts to come forward.

“Do you know where she is or know someone who does? Have you seen her? Have you had any contact with her since 15 May 2013? Any details you provide, however insignificant you believe them to be, could be the vital piece of information I need so please come forward if you have any information,” he appealed.

The body of Dahane was discovered inside a property in Herald Way, Oxfordshire, a day after the suspect disappeared thus placing her as the main suspect.
