VIDEO: Man Dies After Receiving Huruma Tragedy News

A man is mourning the death of his brother who collapsed upon receiving news of the Huruma tragedy, where a building crumbled with their youngest brother inside.

In a video posted on Facebook, Anthony Luseno narrates the tragic story while holding pictures of his two brothers with one them still missing five days after the collapse.

"Before leaving Webuye I asked my wife to ensure the body was taken to the mortuary as we wait to retrieve the other then see what we'll do with them," Luseno said, expressing little hope of finding the trapped 40-year old brother alive.

On Tuesday, the rescue teams at the site saved a 6-month old child who was found inside a bucket while wrapped in a blanket.

The child was emaciated hence was rushed to the Kenyatta National Hospital and has since been stabilising.

On the same day, 9 rabbits were retrieved alive in a spectacle that was described by the Red Cross Society of Kenya as sign of hope in finding more lives under the rubble.

As at Wednesday morning, the death toll from the collapsed Huruma building stood at 26.
