The late Vivian Ntimama (pictured) collapsed and died on Friday morning, January 31.

Prior to her death, the deceased who was an officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is said to have complained of chest pains.

“It is saddening to lose a sibling. However, I would urge online users who find out about someone’s death to always hold that information until the family is informed," she stated.

The 40-year-old was taken to Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi. She is survived by a husband and three children.

Ole Ntimama, the late Narok North MP, died on the night of September 1, 2016, from natural causes.

Ntimama is famous for championing the rights of the Maasai community, which he claimed was marginalised.

He served 15 years as the chairman of the powerful Narok County Council and 25 years as a Member of Parliament and Cabinet minister in various capacities.

On his Twitter page, Deputy President William Ruto condoled with Vivian's family, stating that Vivian was a hardworking lady.

"Her diligence and work ethic were more pronounced at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she served as a Foreign Service Officer; the country will miss her humility, focus, positive attitude and resilience.

We pray that the Ntimama family, relatives and friends find strength during this painful time. Rest In Peace," he wrote
