Former Gem Member of Parliament Jakoyo Midiwo was on March 10 adorned with party regalia on a live show.

During the show, the host Debarl Inea started by highlighting how Bonny Khalwale was pointing at the oranges which had been placed in the table by Senator Wamatangi.

" I can see Bonny pointing at the oranges, I think Otiende will tell us why we have these oranges," he started.

Otiende in response called on Wamatangi who had come with them to say more and explain why he had come with them to show.

"It is always good to honour a colleague who takes a position and a stand. I came with two one that represents his past and the other his new status, "Wamatangi reiterated.

The Kiambu Senator later called on Otiende Omollo to represent the official attire in the right way. Otiende had carried the ODM cap and scarf that he presented them in a hilarious way during the show.

Midiwo and other leaders who had unceremoniously left the party after 2017 had been welcomed back to the party on March 4,  by the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

"You are in a much better position, you were already received by the party leader, congratulations, "Otiende said

Jakoyo speaking after the presentation stated that he had come back because it was the right move.

"All politics is local, ODM is the only political party that is left, "he stated.

A majority of the leaders had left the party in the run to August 8, 2017, General Election after losing out on party nomination tickets.

They included former Kasarani Member of Parliament Elizabeth Ongoro, former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo among several other leaders from South Nyanza. The leaders apologized for quitting the party pledging their allegiance to the ODM party and leader Raila Odinga.
