Stacey Kositany, the daughter of Soy Member of Parliament (MP) Caleb Kositany daughter on Saturday, March 19, tied the knot in an exquisite private ceremony.
Stacey solemnized her union with Sam Chelang'a the son of Lina Jebii Kilimo, Chief Administrative Secretary for the State Department for Gender.
The two exchanged their marriage vows before family and close friends in a white wedding at an undisclosed location. The union was confirmed by Kositany. The elated lawmaker took to social media to share sneak peak of the big day.
"It was a day of great joy, laughter, and dance, during my daughter's wedding. Congratulations Stacey and Sam on your colorful wedding. May God bless your new companionship," the Soy legislator remarked.
Images seen by Kenyans.co.ke show the MP and his wife walking their daughter down the aisle before giving her hand in marriage to her husband-to-be.
Among those in attendance was Uasin Gishu County Woman Representative Gladys Boss Sholei and other politicians from the region.
The wedding ceremony comes just three months after Sam and Stacey got engaged in a traditional Kalenjin wedding ceremony known as 'koito' at the MP's Soy home on December 12, 2021.
Among those who graced the engagement party were Rachael Ruto, Deputy President William Ruto's wife, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, and Belgut lawmaker Nelson Koech.
This is the second time this year that wedding bells have rung in the Kositany family in as many months. In January 2022, the MP's younger brother, Sammy Kositany, exchanged vows with Shillah Tiren the daughter of Moiben MP, Silas Tiren.
