Anglican Church Kicks Out 5 Priests Over Homosexuality

The Anglican Church of Kenya has expelled five priests from the Mt Kenya West Diocese who were under investigations, for allegedly engaging in homosexuality.

The five were excommunicated after investigations by a tribunal formed by the church probed the allegations further. The suspended priests were believed to be married men with children.

Homosexuality cases have been rampantly reported in churches revealing how the spiritual heads are secretly engaging in the forbidden act.

Last week the Anglican Church suspended one of its priests for allegedly luring four young men to the vicar's house, where he engaged them in homosexual acts.

Same sex marriages have been debated worldwide among churches, with some approving it while others adamantly speaking against it.

Mt Kenya West diocese Bishop Joseph Kagunda however stated that the church would not put up with homosexuality as it was against the christian doctrine.
