Mastercard and I&M Bank have announced an extension of their card deal for another eight years which will see the bank's clients enjoy premium benefits.
The deal was ongoing for five years before the extension and has resulted in significant value to the customers, businesses and the economy.
Mark Elliott the President of Africa at Mastercard emphasised that Mastercard was delighted with the extension adding that this strategic alliance has enabled them to make significant progress in advancing digital payments and financial inclusion in Kenya.
"By extending this alliance, I&M Bank has demonstrated its commitment to delivering tailor-made, digital solutions that cater to the distinct needs of our valued customers," the bank CEO Gul Khan added.
