Watson Karuma

Watson Karuma has over ten years of experience as a journalist.

He currently serves as Sports Editor with the Nation Media Group's broadcasting division NTV and was recently awarded the best Sports Reporting Award from the Media Council of Kenya for a piece he did on Kenyan football.

His main focus is development-based sports, which seeks to improve the lives of youth.

He is a member of a small football team in Kiambu County and works with young players by providing them with guidance and counseling sessions as part of their weekend training program.

Laban Cliff Onserio

Laban Cliff Onserio is a business anchor who started out as a Human Resource consultant with General Electric Firm.

He had worked with CNBC Africa from London before joining NTV. While there, he attained the second best position in the Diageo Africa Business Reporting Awards.

The business anchor enjoys motorsport and has been a co-driver at the Kenya National Rally Championship.

Mark Masai

Mark Masai is a Kenyan media personality. He is a TV journalist and presenter at NTV who has been described by some of his fans as professional and good looking.

His journey to become a leading news anchor began when he was just 22 years old when he joined the Nation Media Group’s (NTV) in 2008 and made his first appearance as one of the youngest prime news TV anchors in Kenya.

Masai hosts Press Pass where panelists have a conversation on how media across the board has handled the issues over the week and how to improve moving forward.

Nimrod Taabu

Nimrod Taabu is senior TV anchor and reporter at Nation Media Reporter.

In 2012 he was feted at the CNN-MultiChoice Journalists Awards, where he won the best TV news bulletin award for a story he did on the problems residents of Pokot County face in search of water.

In judging the “Pokot Water Challenges” in the series, “Portraits of Pain”, the adjudicators were impressed at the quality of story-telling inter-woven with the pictures to show the reality that the water is in Barpello, East Pokot, and that “the search for water is a full-time job.” 

Enock Sikolia

Enock Sikolia is a Political Affairs reporter at NTV.

In 2015, Mr Sikolia and Cameraman Charles Kariuki won a CNN Award in the health category for their story on esteoporosis—a disease which is causing paralysis among Turkana residents due to brittle bones because of fluorine.

Wallace Kantai

Wallace Kantai has worked as a business editor at Nationa Media Group.

He has been Columnist for the Daily Nation since November 2013.

He has interviewed and interacted with dozens of Kenya’s and the world’s business leaders and policymakers, including Presidents and the heads of the WTO and IMF.

He also has moderated high-level roundtables.

Kantai has held roles in the information technology, non-profit and public relations fields in Kenya, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Ken Mijungu

Ken Mijungu is a Senior Reporter/Anchor at Nation Media Group.

He was Previously with CCTV Africa and Media Max Network (K24).

Little known fact is that Mijungu is a lawyer by profession.

Larry Madowo

Larry Madowo is Online and Technology Editor as well as News Anchor at NTV Kenya. He is a broadcast journalist, writer, blogger, and technology evangelist.

He anchored the popular Friday night show #theTrend until 23 June 2017 and currently the host of NTV's Sidebar show where he holds a panel discussion with politicians and analysts to break down Kenyan politics.

 He also hosted The Larry Madowo Show on Nation FM and writes a Wednesday column in the Daily Nation’s DN2 pullout called #FrontRow
