Michael Gitonga
Michael’s career in media started off as an “accident”. The first person to interview him as a radio host told him that radio was not for him. The comment just fueled him to keep trying because he had a passion for it .
He went on to host the breakfast show on Radio 316 (Mike on the mic)which he did for over 10 years. He then joined KTN as co-host of the “Morning Express” with Sophia Wanuna from 6am to 9am Monday to Friday. The transition from radio to TV has been exciting for him.

Awali mwaka wa 2013 alikuwa mtayarishi msaidizi na mwelekezi wa makala ya kipindi cha Tazama chini ya shirika la Media Development in Africa (MEDEVA) yaliyokuwa yakipeperushwa kwa runinga ya KTN. Alipata fursa ya kuzuru kaunti mbali mbali nchini kama vile Garissa, Kilifi, Kwale, Lamu, Marsabit na nyenginezo.

Joe Ageyo
Joe Ageyo is the Managing Editor at KTN.
He holds an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Agribusiness Management from Egerton University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi, and a certificate in Advanced Studies in Environmental Diplomacy from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
He joined KTN in the year 2000 as a general news reporter, but his work has focused on environmental stories.
John Allan Namu
John Allan Namu is the CEO/Editorial Director of "Africa Uncensored". He is a former features editor, reporter and crime investigator at KTN.
His area of focus is largely on long-form investigative and in-depth reporting on current affairs topics.
He has been involved in various investigations with topics ranging from extrajudicial executions and other human rights abuses in Kenya’s current war on terrorism to the mechanics around which Kenya’s last general election result did not reflect the actual vote.
Ian Wafula
Ian graduated from Daystar University in 2014 with a B.A in Communication. It was during his studies that he got an opportunity to intern at KTN in August 2013 and was employed 6 months later.
While in Daystar, Ian worked as a show host, reporter and news reader at Shine FM, the school radio station; to which he owes part of his growth and love for journalism.
Hassan Jumaa
Hassan Jumaa joined The Standard Group Limited as trainee reporter in December 2006 after graduating with a degree from The United States International University where he majored in Journalism and International Relations. Currently he is a Senior Sports Reporter.
He is the Producer and Host of "Zilizala Viwanjani" show.
Francis Ontomwa
Francis Ontomwa is KTN's bilingual Coast reporter. Many still refer to him as the 'Bukusu Darling' for the captivating love story he broke for KTN in July 2013 between an Asian lady and a Bukusu man.
The award winning and talented journalist graduated from Masinde Muliro University in 2012 with a degree in Linguistics starting his career as a print journalist at the Standard Group in Western Kenya. In 2013 he was named KTN's best bureau reporter in three successive quarters.
