Fear has gripped a village in Sotik, Bomet County after one person died and 55 others hospitalized due to consumption of infected meat.
It is alleged that the residents consumed a cow's carcass alleged to have been suffering from anthrax.
According to acting Health Director, David Bii those who were severely affected are hospitalized at Kaplong and kapsabet hospitals, Citizen News reports.
