Raila Odinga Removes Red Jacket During Radio Jambo Interview

National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga on Monday morning attended an interview on a local radio station and upon noticing that he was live on Facebook, he removed his red jacket lest he confused his supporters.

Red is mainly associated with the Jubilee Party and Raila was quick to take off his jacket amid laughter from those present during the interview.

"Wacha nitoe hii jacket ya red...wakenya watafikiria nimehama," (let me remove this red jacket lest Kenyans think I have switched to Jubilee), Raila said at the start of the interview held at his Karen home.

During the interview, the NASA flag bearer claimed that the recent court rulings favouring the IEBC were as a result of influence by the Jubilee administration in the Judiciary.

He also emphasised that NASA would go ahead with its plan to have extra agents at every polling station despite opposition from acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.

On Sunday, President Uhuru Kenyatta also went live on Facebook where he responded to questions from his supporters, as well as explaining why he should be reelected.
