Johnson Sakaja Apologises for Moses Kuria's Facebook Post on Chris Msando's Death

Nairobi Senator hopeful Johnson Sakaja has issued an apology on behalf of Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria.

Speaking during campaigns on Thursday, Mr Sakaja apologised for a remark expressed by Kuria, moments before IEBC's ICT Manager Chris Msando was found dead.

"I know political temperatures are high so I'd like to say 'sorry, sorry, sorry' to the family of the IEBC ICT Manager who was killed. As the Jubilee party, we demand speedy investigations to find out who is benefitting from Msando's death.

"We [Jubilee party] also apologise to the family on behalf of those who said things without having proper knowledge of the facts," Sakaja pleaded, alluding to Kuria's Facebook outburst.

The Gatundu lawmaker speculated, on a Facebook post, that Msando was 'enjoying sweet time with a woman' and linked National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to his disappearance.
