A National Super Alliance (NASA) official has revealed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has tried to bribe the coalition's party agents in Embu County.
Speaking in Embu Town, Mr Wamuru, who is NASA's Elections Coordinator in the County, claimed that he was summoned to the electoral body's office in a move to change results initially written in form 34As.
"We have information that the IEBC has been trying to bribe our party agents ahead of the election petition hearing," he explained to the Daily Nation.
Mr Wamuru further stated that he had recorded a statement and sworn an affidavit of the alleged election irregularities in the county, adding that he feared for his life.
"I have been feeling insecure as I have noticed two vehicles trailing me in establishments I frequently go to," he conveyed.
He added he was being intimidated due to his stand in the just concluded elections where he claims he witnessed several irregularities at various polling stations in the county.
On Monday, an IEBC Official was allegedly arrested trying to bribe party officials for their copies of Form 34A in Machakos County.
