President Uhuru Kenyatta's second-born son, Muhoho Kenyatta has joined the presidential campaigns ahead of the fresh elections.

On Sunday, he was photographed accompanying Deputy President William Ruto during campaigns in Nandi County.

Earlier in the day, they attended a church service at Kipsebwo Catholic Church and later addressed a rally at Kaptumo in the County.

Members of the first family have been actively involved in presidential campaigns.

Last week, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta was accompanied by her daughter Ngina Kenyatta in a tour of a village in Kapenguria, West-Pokot County, to meet with mothers and women leaders.

The two were received by Governor John Lonyang'apuo and went ahead to visit several homesteads where Mrs Kenyatta rolled out a mosquito-net distribution exercise.

They also helped in a physical exercise of shelling maize which could be for Githeri - a local delicacy made of maize and beans - or milling for Unga. In pictures capturing the moment, residents of the area were seen amused by the humility of the first family.
