3 Perish in Road Accident

Three people died in a tragic road accident along the Nairobi-Narok highway Thursday morning.

The accident took place when a truck ferrying wheat flour from Nairobi headed towards Narok lost control and veered off the road.

According to The Star, Narok Police commander Abdi Galgalo said this could have been as a result of combined factors including failed brakes and poor visibility.

The Standard reports that two people died on the spot while witnesses tried to save the third man who was severely injured.

He later succumbed to the injuries.

Witnesses identified the truck at the accident as having the Road Star Company logo.
