Former radio presenter Angela Angwenyi Nyarangi's account has been frozen as investigations into the Ksh9 Billion National Youth Service (NYS) scandal continue.
Angwenyi's account at Housing Finance is among 115 accounts in 14 banks and Unaitas, a sacco, that have been frozen for 90 days.
A Nairobi court issued the freeze order following an application from Fredrick Musyoki who is an investigating officer with the Assets Recovery Agency (ARA).
Other accounts that suffered the same fate include those of Principal Secretary Lilian Omollo and her partner Dick Oruko Oneko, son of freedom fighter Achieng' Oneko.
Bernard Masiga Ayienga, a senior finance officer in the Public Service ministry had two of his accounts frozen as well.

Angwenyi was implicated in a previous mega scandal that rocked the NYS in 2015.
She was put on the spot as investigators questioned how her firm, Out of The Box Solutions, landed a Ksh302 Million contract.
In a special audit report on NYS accounts, Ouko raised concerns of large payments made to the firm among other private ones for services and products which were not delivered in some cases.
The contract was for Out of the Box to conduct sensitisation campaigns targeting women, youth and persons with disabilities under the Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPRO) program.
Angwenyi, however, denied any wrong-doing asserting that her company was capable of executing the tasks.
She also maintained that they had received only 30 percent of the total agreed amount.
