A fire broke out at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) on Monday at around 4am.
The fire is reported to have burned down the Student's Mess as well as several retail outlets.
Juja OCPD Simon Thirikwa confirmed that nobody was injured during the incident.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
On Saturday afternoon, a fire broke out at a building in Westlands.
The fire started at The Promenade along General Mathenge Road opposite Auto-express off-Ring Road Parklands.
Reports indicated that seven workers were injured in the incident while several others were still trapped inside the building before being rescued.
Emergency teams, including Red Cross, arrived at the scene and contained the fire.
