The previous head of Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Noah Arap Too has died.
He succumbed to an illness that had seen him admitted in Intensive Care Unit at The Nairobi Hospital for the past one month.
Too served as the CID (now Directorate of Criminal Investigation) for 15 years during President Moi's regime.
The deceased was the longest serving CID boss, with his tenure starting in 1984 and ending in 1999.
