Ino Ni Momo Hit-maker Passes On

He came, entertained and now Murimi wa Kahalf has left.

The entertainer cum singer came into the lime light with the hit single which he composed as a tribute to plus size women.

With witty catch lines and a touch of satirical humor, the song would gain popularity across Kenya and see the video's main character get a role in a local TV drama series- Papa Shirandula.

Kahalf died at Aga Khan hospital Thursday evening.

The Kikuyu musician had been at the hospital for two months, receiving treatment for the chronic disease which he eventually succumbed to.

His last message on social media give a glimpse of his last days.

Kahalf's last message on Face book reads “When you walk in the shadow of the valley of death, it’s only the spirit of god that can lead you. Lord reign forever” while his last tweet reads  “In need of your prayers friends,”
