A man was found dead on Sunday at his home in Bungoma County, two months after getting married.
27-year-old Charles Khaemba is said to have committed suicide by hanging himself after his wife, Irene Nasike, of two months left with his certificates following a disagreement.
According to the relatives, the two were constantly in dispute since the beginning of their wedlock.
The deceased was found at his home in Mabanga Village, Bungoma South, by his brother James Wakoli after several attempts to reach Nasike failed.
According to Mr Wakoli, he decided to visit his late brother’s home after realizing that the deceased had taken too long to start his daily schedule.
"We tried to open the door but it was locked from inside. When we broke in we found his body hanging from a rope in the sitting room," he said.
The body was taken to Bungoma County Referral Hospital morgue.
