MCA Now Wants to Fight Duale

Gem-Central Member of County Assembly, Fred Ouda, has challenged National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale to a fight should he meet him in the streets of Nairobi.

The MCA from Siaya County came to the defense of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga whom he said is being insulted by Mr Duale.

"I can no longer take Duale’s remarks against CORD Leader Raila Odinga lightly. I want to assure him that I will face him head-on along the streets of Nairobi should I meet him," said Mr Ouda.

At a press conference held in Kisumu, the MCA accused Mr Duale of ignorantly mentioning Mr Odinga in a matter he was not knowledgeable about.

“Duale does not understand what the EuroBond means and must stop commenting on such matters,” he said.

Mr Ouda who stripped naked in July, still in the defense of Raila, further compared himself to the Garissa Township MP and said that he garnered almost equal votes as Duale therefore he should not put himself in the same league as Mr Odinga.

“Let Duale face me as his equal who got similar votes with him, and not Raila who garnered more than 5 Million votes. Raila is in the league of Koffi Annan and not the Duales of this world,” the MCA stated.

Ouda's sentiments were sparked after remarks made by Mr Duale on Sunday, claiming that the Eurobond money was used to pay debt taken by the coalition government in which Odinga was part.

Duale further warned Odinga against disrepecting President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto citing that they were not his equals.
