MP Wants County Official's Genitals Examined

Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu has appealed to the court to have the testicles of a political advisor attached to Kitui Governor Julius Malombe examined by a doctor.

Mr Mutambu is in court following a last year incident in which he reportedly assaulted one Charles Kyale by squeezing and injuring his private part.

Through his lawyer, the Mwingi Central legislator recommended examination on Mr Kyale to determine the extent of the said injury before the case proceeded.

The prosecution, however, objected the application stating that it was delayed, as the injures sustained 14 months ago had probably healed.

Mr Mutambu is accused of squeezing Mr Kyale’s genitals on February 23 at Tanathi board room located in the County headquarters.

In addition to the genital assault, Mr Mutambu reportedly colluded with another person and attacked Mr Kyale, causing him bodily harm.
