A young man from Tana River County on Wednesday boldly conveyed his interest in President Uhuru Kenyatta's daughter at a forum held at State House Mombasa
Speaking as he concluded his speech at a Coast Youth Dialogue Forum, the young man caught the audience by surprise when he sought the President's help in securing his daughter Ngina Kenyatta’s hand in marriage.
When the President's turn to speak came, he concluded his address by challenging the man eying his daughter to go ahead and try his luck.
“Hiyo ya mwisho jitetee……..Na ukifanikiwa nitakula Christmas Tana River.” (On the last issue, go for it yourself...and if you succeed I will celebrate Christmas in Tana River”.

The Head of State has been in the coastal region since the New Year's Eve, where he has been touring various areas.
On Tuesday night he was seen walking in Mombasa Old Town and around the beach surveying the electricity projects in the area.
