Prison Warders Recruitment Exercise Disrupted In Mandera

The recruitment of Kenya Prison Service warders in Mandera Town was Wednesday morning disrupted by rowdy youths saying it was marred with irregularities.

Trouble begun after several youths were disqualified  on grounds that they had bowed legs.

One of the candidates Abdikadir Billow Hassan claimed some senior prison officers had turned up at the recruitment centre with the intention of having their preferred candidates considered, the Daily Nation reports.

The disrupted recruitment exercise had to carried out again Wednesday afternoon.
