President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday burst into laughter after Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi introduced himself as a youth.
Matiangi made a sarcastic introduction when he took to the podium to address a Presidential Youth Dialogue Forum at State House in Mombasa.
In his introductory remark, CS Matiang'i began by saying “My Fellow Youth” before retracting his words and starting with the normal “His Excellency the President...”.
However, his words had already been heard by Kenyatta who broke into laughter causing other leaders and the youth participating in the forum to join.
At some point, the Head of State used his palms to hide his amusement.
Matiangi's comments were probably meant to relate with participants of the forum who were mainly young people from the Coastal region.

Meanwhile, a young man from Tana River county boldly expressed his interest in the President's daughter, Ngina Kenyatta, requesting Uhuru to help secure his daughter's hand in marriage.
Kenyatta responded to the plea, asking the man to try his luck in convincing Ngina.
