A group of 50 'Gaza members' have given up their outlawed way of life to rejoin the society. The young men surrendered themselves to the County Administrative Authorities.
Gaza, a criminal group in Kayole, is known for terrorizing locals within the area they operate.
The group is said to target young children who they recruit into their gang. They train the children to be rebellious and carry out criminal activities using weapons.
However, some of them have turned themselves in, with the assurance that they have immunity. They also claim to have denounced the gang promising to follow the law.
Kayole OCPD Ali Nuno promised that no harm or action would be taken against them if the group hands in their weapons.
An area Pastor, Josphat Waruingi, assured them of jobs in order for them to fend for themselves.
