TV47 Unveils New Programming After Hiring Betty Kyalo and Shatta Bway

In the past few months, Capemedia which manages TV47 and Radio 47 has hired veteran journalists such as Willis Raburu, Shatta Bway, and Betty Kyalo among others.

The media house has now unveiled a new programming guide that features top journalists and entertainers.

"TV47 is presenting a fresh new look and a line-up of new enhanced programming set to elevate our audiences' viewing experience."

"We commit to deliver quality content that resonates with our primary youthful audience, while at the same time appealing to the mass market," read part of the notice.

Renowned news anchor, Betty Kyalo who recently joined the team will host a new show 'This Friday' every Friday from 9 pm.

Radio presenter Steve Jacob Maunda popularly known as Shatta Bway will now host a new segment 'TV47 Irie Vibes' that will air on Saturdays at 10 pm.

On the other hand, investigative journalist Franklin Wallah will be undertaking a new show on the media house, 'Crime Untold'. This show will tackle various cases offering in-depth analysis to the viewers.

These new faces will be joining other seasoned journalists at TV47 who are already hosting different segments at the media outlet.

Some of the journalists include George Maringa, Lindah Alela, Victor Muyakane, Hibaq Said, Stanley Nyaringita, Paul Kirobi and Eva Rugal.

Others include Joash Onsare and Andrine Kilemi. Journalists Tony Kwalanda and Fred Arocho are also part of the team as lead presenters in the sports department.

Besides the daily shows and news segments, the media house also has a few features for its viewers including, Documentary; Face of Africa, DW Documentaries, and kids shows.

There are also a few new shows on the station including The Legal Show and TV47 Kilimo whose airing times and dates will be communicated soon.
