Angry Uhuru Refuses to Take Lunch at Jubilee Meeting

President Uhuru Kenyatta reportedly stormed Panafric Hotel in Nairobi where Jubilee Members of Parliament (MP) were meeting over the Sh35 Billion CDF kitty.

Kenyatta made an impromptu stop at the hotel where he lectured the MPs for threatening to block the national budget after the Constituency Development Fund was left out.

A Jubilee MP from Central divulged that the President was so angry that he declined taking lunch despite being invited.

“The boss was so furious that he even refused to talk to us further and stormed out of the meeting, together with Ruto, ignoring calls by my colleagues urging them to stay.

“The two even declined to take lunch at the invitation of the House leadership," the lawmaker was quoted by the Standard.

Kenyatta warned his coalition's MPs of dire consequences and questioned why they wanted to sabotage his government for selfish interests.

It is said that the President even threatened to order for a list of legislators who would not vote for the budget in Parliament.

He told the Jubilee MPs to go back to the National Assembly and ensure the budget was passed and leave the court to decide on the CDF matter.
