ODM Headquarters Raided

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party headquarters in Nairobi were on Monday morning raided by armed thugs.

According to a statement by the party, the gunmen took all the computers from their offices which contained vital party information. Reports also indicate that one of the guards manning the premises had gone missing and could not be traced.

Nairobi Police Commander, Japheth Koome stated that the incident happened at about 2am, when five men stormed Orange House and tied two of the three guards.

Koome added that they suspect the gang had colluded with the guard who was missing.

“Preliminary findings show the guard was new at the place and we suspect he colluded with the thieves to carry out the crime. An investigation has been launched,” Koome was quoted by The Standard.

However, ODM Spokesman, Philip Etale said that they were not sure if the guard was part of the scheme, adding that the guards did not have keys to the room where computers were stored.
