The family of the late city lawyer Geoffrey Oriaro are mourning the loss of three members of their family after Oriaro's brother, his wife and niece perished in a road accident on Wednesday.
Patrick Ochieng', his wife and niece lost their lives in Nakuru when the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into another from the opposite direction.
According to police, Ochieng' was trying to overtake a truck, only to come into a head-on collision with an oncoming bus.
Ochieng' and his wife perished on the spot, while their niece died on her way to the hospital.
The tragedy happened just three days after Oriaro was laid to rest at his home in Siaya.
Oriaro, who successfully petitioned the National assembly to remove the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) Chair Mumo Matemu, was found dead in a swimming pool at a Mombasa hotel.
His family said Oriaro was in perfect health before the mysterious death and had been attending a work related seminar at the hotel.
