"Some people never learn! I can easily assure that Omosh got more than Ksh 1 million from my show...Personally in cash he got more than 700k then the people who sent money directly to him! I hosted him 2 weeks after he came out. People had already started sending him money! He got land and a house was built for him. He was given food worth 60k and another 100k in cash," Jalang'o stated.

In an interview on TV47 on Friday, June 25, the actor stated that he had used up the money he had been given to pay up loans.

The thespian added that he received less than a million shillings which he used to settle his debts, arguing that some of the people who pledged did not keep their part of the bargain.

"I am ready to even work as a sweeper before I bounce back. You can reach me through my contacts," the actor stated.

"I just want a camera, tripod, two lights and a microphone and I will be okay," he added.

Omosh noted that fans always assumed that celebrities were making a lot of money even when they made just enough.

"I had so many debts and I have two families. I gave some of the money to my wife for her to start a business.

"People had so many expectations and they escalated the figures of what they thought I received. Others said I was given a mercedes benz, others Ksh 5 million but it's not true," he told Kenyans.co.ke.

He added that he attends a fellowship every Wednesday and Thursday to keep his mind off alcohol.

The actor's plea came just months after Kenyans overwhelmingly donated monetary gifts, shopping vouchers, a free bed, seats among other items for him.

He had revealed that he was struggling to get a financial footing because of unemployment coupled with alcohol abuse.

He added that he had been kicked out over Ksh150,000 rental arrears and pleaded to be given menial jobs.
