KWS Changes 2024 Recruitment Venue for Rangers in Nairobi

The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) on Tuesday, April 16, announced that the recruitment centre for rangers in Nairobi had been moved from Nyayo Stadium. 

As such, the rangers will now be recruited at Kenya Utalii College Sports Ground.

“Further to the earlier advertisement for the recruitment of rangers dated March 19, 2024, the Service wishes to bring to the attention of the General Public the change in the recruitment centre for Nairobi County has changed,” KWS noted in a statement to the public. 

As such, the recruitment at Kenya Utalii Sports Ground will now take place on Friday, April 19, 2024.

KWS noted that all other details about the recruitment remained unchanged including academic requirements. 

Interested applicants should have scored a minimum of D (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). 

Additionally, once the candidates avail themselves at Utalii College, they must show proof of citizenship by presenting their original National Identity Card or passport. 

Other requirements are that the cadets must be under 26 years of age, non-felonies, and physically fit. 

Candidates who do not hail from Nairobi County will not be eligible to participate in the recruitment exercise. 

Those born out of Nairobi County will need to present themselves at recruitment centres in their home counties. 

Already, KWS has undertaken recruitment exercises in Lamu, Marsabit, Isiolo, Embu, Kitui, Machakos, Turkana, West Pokot, Samburu, Nandi, Migori, and Kisii Counties.
