Gospel Musician Eunice Njeri is one such artiste who’s taken up the duty to be a source of hope.
Drawing from her coping mechanism, the Uka hitmaker spoke to Kenyans.co.ke, advising Kenyans to keep God at the centre during this period.
“Make your relationship with Christ solid, keep the word of God close to you. So let’s pray a lot as the Bible says ‘ask and you shall receive’.”
Njeri, who’s been a worship leader for over 18 years will be headlining a worship experience by Africa Rising, a platform that seeks to endorse African Pride through the promotion of inspirational Gospel experiences.
“Worship is a lifestyle. It is meant for the audience of one, only for the Lord and has to be everything about the gospel and about Jesus premised on the knowledge that God is everything,” the multiple award winner explained.
The Uka hitmaker revealed that she has a great set of songs lined up for all those who are ready for the worship experience. The line-up also consists of Gospel Minister Mike Manoa and Adaeze backed by an electrifying band.
Unprecedented times do not necessarily spell doom and gloom. They are a call to worship and spend time in God's presence.
Worship should be inculcated in every heartbeat as explained in Psalms 95:2: 'Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song'.
At the same time, worship isn't a reserve for a chosen few but for all beings to give thanks to their creator.
'Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!' (Psalms 150:6).
Worship is action - it is zealous and joyful and humble hearts give the most glory to God.
