I like to think that we split into polar opposites in the womb, instead of our chis mixing they divided cleanly in half: I got all the caution genes and Carol was born as wild as they come. We are both in our early thirties: I have a quaint little family, two children and Carol...well, Carol is on her latest experiment with hair colour: electric blue this time. 

Helping Kenya's healthcare system is one of Mozzart's priorities in terms of socially responsible work.

Accordingly, the organisation on Tuesday, March 16, donated personal protective equipment (PPEs) worth Ksh 2 Million to the Iten County Referral Hospital.

The goal of the action is to improve the working conditions of health workers and establish support for the community.

It seems almost absurd to imagine that just last March we began the lockdown that would lay claim over the rest of 2020 — and ushered in the zoom meetings that turned our hair grey. The year of all things unprecedented has now steadily been receding, to become little more than a bleep in the space of our memories.

Leading gaming company Mozzart continued contributing towards improving Kenya’s health system by donating medical equipment worth Ksh3 Million to the Kombewa County Hospital in Kisumu on Friday 5 March.

The donated equipment included hospital beds, bedside lockers, maternity delivery beds, patient monitors, oxygen concentrators, oxygen flow meters, oxygen storage capacitors, ophthalmoscopes, infant incubators amongst others.

On March Thursday 4, the company provided medical equipment worth Ksh1.5 Million to the Molo Sub County Hospital in Nakuru.

The donated equipment included hospital beds, bedside lockers, maternity delivery beds, patient monitors, oxygen concentrators, oxygen flow meters and infant incubators.

I met Jose in a cell-like office at OR Tambo Airport as we waited to be deported.

The last time Koki made chapati for her husband was 5 years ago to the day.
